Why Lifestyle Health?

To live good lives, we need to live healthy lives.

When we ignore the aspects of health that we can’t control – yes, there’s a lot of luck and bad luck when it comes to health – there’s still a lot left that we can control, and that is what this publication is focused on.

The goal of this publication is to cut through the noise, reach a general audience without a background in health sciences, and provide only evidence-based information. I seek to avoid jargon and complication and to make the content here easy to read and easy to understand. At the same time, I don’t plan on dumbing things down and will avoid over-simplifying to the extent that doing so can lead to things becoming misleading.

Most importantly, I will do everything I can to avoid sharing health pseudoscience and misinformation. To the contrary, I aim to debunk and inoculate against false health claims.

I’ve set a tall task for myself, I know, and I hope that you, my readers, will hold me accountable to these goals. And for that, I will thank you.
